According to the new CareerBuilder Survey - http://cb.com/I3o7Iv - many [37%] hiring managers are using social media to research candidates. Facebook and LinkedIn are frequented the most.
Unless you’ve been living in a cave these last weeks, you’ll know there’s been a huge outcry about employers snooping on candidates’ social media profiles, or worse still requesting Facebook passwords as part of their hiring processes.
And looking at the positive role a candidate’s social media profiles can solidify the decision to hire in a way that’s had little if any media coverage.
